The funeral is taking place at the chapel at the funeral home where the visitation is occurring on Hodgson Memorial drive. iIt is not at the Methodist church. That was an error.

- Wendy Sue Mathis, Pooler, Georgia

Wendy and the Kids, I am so sorry for your loss. Ritchie had a lot of love to give and he tried his best to spread it everywhere. The Father has gained a new Angel in his orchestra and I bet it sounds alot like Van Halen.

- Andy Crutchfield, Newnan, GA.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Richard III and his family. I pray that the coming days pass as easily as possible and that the sting of grief is not too bitter. While I never personally met Mr. Mathis, I am thankful that he fathered two amazing children, one of whom I am blessed to be able to call my friend.

- Blade Taylor, Guyton, GA
